Human rights defender appealed to Amnesty International: “Your bias on Azerbaijan is felt”

Amnesty International, headquartered in London, UK, published a biased report on the human rights situation in Azerbaijan on April 16. In its report, Amnesty International seeks to label those held in special quarantine administrative detention as political prisoners and describes the necessary restrictive measures applied in the country as a suppression of human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan.

Ahmad Shahidov, an Azerbaijani human rights defender and head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, made a video appeal to Amnesty International regarding the report and sent it to the organization’s e-mails and social network accounts.
