Visiting Europe since 1 May, chief of TURSAM Center for Strategic Studies, PhD on Philology Ahmad Shahidov started official meetings on 5 May in Vienna, capital of Austria. On that day Ahmad Shahidov met with Secretary General of Austrian Parliament Dr. Harald Dossi.
During the meeting, Ahmad Shahidov gave detailed information about TURSAM organization, also informed Dr. Harald Dossi about Azerbaijan Republic and Nagornoy Karabakh conflict.
Talked about Parliamentary system of Azerbaijan, chief of TURSAM inquired about structure of Austrian Parliament, members of Austrian Parliament represents in the European Parliament and legislation of Austria.
Secretary General of Austrian Parliament Dr. Harald Dossi expressed his satisfaction to greet chief of TURSAM in Vienna and gave detailed information about activity of Austrian Parliament, spoke about decisions made by Austrian MPs.
During the meeting, Ahmad Shahidov talked about Nagornoy Karabakh and gave multilingual book about Nagornoy Karabakh conflict to Dr. Harald Dossi. Then, Mr. Harald Dossi introduced building of Austrian Parliament to chief of TURSAM and showed meeting and conference halls of Austrian Parliament.
Ahmad Shahidov expressed his deepest gratitude for the meeting and his interest in cooperation. Chief of TURSAM talked about future information exchange between TURSAM Center for Strategic Studies and Austrian Parliament, also said the possibility of mutual visits.
