Visiting Austria on 5 May the chief of TURSAM Center for Strategic Studies Ahmad Shahidov has been in OSCE French Office. Chief of TURSAM met with French consul in OSCE Mr. Xavier Rey and discussed the last activity of OSCE, also spoke about the work being done to resolve the Nagornoy Karabakh conflict.
In the meeting held interesting exchange of views about last events in the world, political crisis in Ukraine and foreign policy of Russian Federation. Expressed the official position of France and OSCE on Nagornoy Karabakh conflict, Mr. Xavier Rey said that they welcome all steps taken to achieve the peace in the region.
Speaking about Nagornoy Karabakh, chief of TURSAM once again expressed the Azerbaijan’s fair position, standing in front of the political map of the world, explained situation in the region to french diplomat in more detail.
For having more deeply information in his future activity, multilingual book about Nagornoy Karabakh was given to Mr. Xavier Rey who is known as specialist on South Caucasus.
During the meeting were discussed also mechanisms of future cooperation between TURSAM Center for Strategic Studies and OSCE. Chief of WAC Poland Office Nail Ahmad also participated in the meeting.
