In the frame of his visit to Brussels Ahmad Shahidov talked about democracy and human rights
Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) held a meeting with Willy Fautre, Director of Human Rights without Frontier in Brussels, Belgium on September 15. Giving comprehensive information with regard to the organization under his leadership, Mr. Shahidov talked about state of democracy and human rights in Azerbaijan and held a discussion on perspectives of mutual collaboration.
For his part, Willy Fautre expressed his pleasure to receive head of AIDHR in Brussels and touched upon activities of Human Rights without Frontiers, its priorities and corporation with the European Parliament. He also emphasized Azerbaijani’s crucial role for HRWF and voiced his hope on future collaboration to be established with AIDHR.
Aftermath, the meeting was accompanied by exchange of thoughts on Ukrainian crises and external policy pursued by Russia.
