OSCE general assembly in Warsaw continued its sessions on “Combating terrorism and torture” on September 24. Attendees of the meeting talked about torture facts in various parts of world and combat against terrorism which threatens whole humanity.
Taking the floor at the meeting Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) pointed out that participation of representatives from separatist regimes such as Nagorno Kharabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Dniester “Republics” is against the OSCE core principles and draw attendees attention to terrorism perpetrated by Armenia. Head of AIDHR addressed to the Armenian representative on demanding to inform European diplomats about the Khojaly genocide. Mr. Shahidov also recalled Armenian writers Zori Balayan and David Kherdiyan’s confessions on brutalities committed by Armenia in Nagorno Kharabakh and compared official Armenian government with ISIS which commits crimes not only in Iraq but against the humanity as a whole.
Regardless of Armenian representative’s protest to the speech made by head of AIDHR, Mr. Shahidov could managed to conclude his speech and put an emphasize on terrorism facts carried out by Armenia.
