Head of AIDHR enquired about the Austrian legislative practices and freedom of media
Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) held a meeting at the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts and Culture, Constitution and Media in Vienna on November 5, 2014. Being received by Daniela Zauner, the Ministry’s Advisor for International Affairs, Information Society, Head of AIDHR inquired about the experiences and practices gained in Austrian constitution, legislation and ensuring freedom of media.
While expressing her satisfaction on receiving head of AIDHR in Vienna, Mrs. Daniela Zauner gave comprehensive information related to core principles of constitution, freedom of media and legislation of Austria and shared her personal views. She went on commenting that Austria became members of the European Union as the democratic country. She also voiced her hope on collaboration with AIDHR covering information and exchange of experiences.
