In the frame of the meeting an agreement on bilateral cooperation has been made between AIDHR and Tages Woche newspaper
Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) visited Tages Woche, German-language newspaper in Basel, Switzerland on December 3. Making use of this opportunity he met with the working group of the newspaper. During his meeting with Dani Winter, Editor-in-chief of Tages Woche newspaper Head of AIDHR received information with respect to freedom of press and state of mass media outlets in Switzerland
Expressing his satisfaction on receiving Head of AIDHR in Basel Mr. Winter gave detailed information regarding the newspaper and operation of mass media organizations in the country. In the course of meeting the sides have reached an agreement on bilateral collaboration. Based on the agreement a series of articles about Azerbaijan will be published in the Tages Woche newspaper.
