Czech Ombudsman to be presented a book on Nagorno-Karabakh
Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) held a meeting with Mrs. Anna Šabatová, human rights defender (ombudsman) in Brno city, Czech Republic on April 23. Extending a warm welcome to the AIDHR delegation, Mrs. Anna Šabatová talked about the state of human rights in her country, activities of the Public Defender Rights and review of the complaints addressed by persons.
For his part, Ahmad Shahidov spoke about the organization headed by him and noted that high level relations with European countries are of pivotal importance.
During the meeting head of AIDHR also touched upon Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and presented a book “Karabakh-Past and Present” to the Czech ombudsman.
