A book containing Azerbaijani realties to be presented to one of the largest scientific center of Eastern Europe

Human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov presented a book dedicated to Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijani hostages to National Library of Estonia

Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) visited National Library of Estonia in Tallinn, on May 18. Being received by Kristel Veimann, Director of Library, Head of AIDHR toured Library’s building and got acquainted with the activities and archives of the Library. Seizing the opportunity, Ahmad Shahidov presented a book dedicated to Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijani hostages to National Library of Estonia.

Extending her warm welcome to the delegates lead by Mr. Shahidov, Kristel Veimann elaborated on the activities pursed by the Library. She went on to say that National Library of Estonia which is one of the largest educational and scientific centers of the Eastern Europe and Baltic region contains approximately 4 million books. The sides also made exchange of thoughts on providing the Library with valuable literatures about Azerbaijan.
