Human rights defender responded to questions of journalist Mehriban Gasimova and talked about the work done in Europe for releasing Azerbaijani hostages
In Febuary 3, Head of Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights Ahmad Shahidov was a guest of the TV program “Chestno Govorya” in CBC Azerbaijan Channel. Responded to questions of well-known journalist Mehriban Gasimova, Head of AIDHR informed about his activity in Europe, speeches in international organizations and the work to be done.
Talking about the work done for defending the rights of Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Askarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov mentioned the double standards in Europe and said that authorities in Armenia ignore the international laws and norms. Intensive work is being done to return Azerbaijani soldier’s body left in armenian side and this issue will be solved in the near future, said Ahmad Shahidov.
