Within the framework of the planned visit to the north-west region of the country, President of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev is expected to arrive in Gakh region. There is a serious preparation for the visit of the President to Gakh district.
The central streets and parks of the district are cleaned. Village roads that the Gakh people have complained for many years have already been overhauled. Well-known human rights defender, won the sympathy of the people of Gakh during the elections to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ahmad Shahidov posted video footage about it on social networks. It is clear from the footage that a 10 km-long road linking Gum, Suskend, Lekit, Zarna and Gulluk villages of Gakh region is overhauled.
It should be noted that President Ilham Aliyev is expected to visit Gakh region in the coming days.
