Being on a working visit in Europe, Head of Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights Dr. Ahmad Shahidov visited Central European University in Budapest. The Human Rights Defender met with Head of the Central European University Center for Policy Studies Dr. Andrew Cartwright and exchanged views on recent developments in the region.
The sides, discussing the security of Europe, the flow of refugees, tolerance and integration, have reached preliminary agreement on mutual exchange of experiences. Speaking about the challenges facing Azerbaijan to Dr. Andrew Cartwright, Head of AIDHR Ahmad Shahidov also underlined the necessity of joint work to address human threats.
