Discussions on Khojaly genocide, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Azerbaijani hostages at Turkish “Ulusal Channel” Television

Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, who is on a working visit in Turkey, was a guest at the live broadcast of Turkish “Ulusal Channel” Television, on February 24. Responding to the questions of Seda Anik, the presenter of the “Ulusal Ozel” program, the human rights defender informed about the 26th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide and spoke about the Armenian atrocities and said that the world community have not given a sufficient legal and political assessment to the genocide.

Speaking about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Ahmad Shahidov briefed about Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev and spoke about the work done to ensure their liberation.

Son of Dilgam Asgarov, Kurdoghlu who joined the program as well, informed about his father and said that they need support of the Turkish state for the release of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who are in Armenian captivity already for 4 years.
