Well-known human rights defender, won the sympathy of the people of Gakh during the elections to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Ahmad Shahidov during his visit to the Gakh district met with local residents and was interested in the concerns of the residents of the district and the village. Addressing the video appeal, Ahmad Shahidov spoke about the construction of new roads in Gakh and said that some rural roads were built in the world standards and informed about President Ilham Aliyev’s “Order on Measures for Construction of Gakh-Gipchak-Aghyazy Highway of Gakh Region”.
Noting that a number of villages in Gakh are still not provided with gas, Ahmad Shahidov said that in the coming days President Ilham Aliyev will visit Gakh region as part of his expected trip to the north-western region and expressed his confidence that the population will be fully provided with blue fuel after the capital repair.
