“Putin’s decision could pave the way for NATO-Russia war” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov spoke to BBNTurk Television

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the annexation of Ukraine’s Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions by Russia.

Addressing deputies, government officials, regional governors and NGO representatives at the Kremlin Palace, Putin made statements regarding the annexation of regions in Ukraine.

Stating that referendums were held to join Russia in the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in Ukraine and in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions under the control of the Russian army, Putin said: “Today, we will sign agreements on the transfer of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions to Russia. I am confident that the Russian Federal Assembly will support the constitutional laws regarding the incorporation and formation of these 4 regions into Russia. Because this is the will of millions of people.”

Speaking to the BBNTurk Television on the subject, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that after this decision, the war between Ukraine and Russia would turn into a more violent dimension.
