“Iran-Azerbaijani relations have been seriously damaged” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov talked to “Iran International” channel

The tension observed in Iran-Azerbaijani relations, against the background of the regional realities that emerged after the 44-day Second Karabakh war, is not accidental. The Islamic Republic of Iran does not want to accept the new realities in the region and is seriously trying to prevent the opening of the Zangezur Corridor.

Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who made a statement to the “Iran International” channel broadcast from London, spoke about Iran-Azerbaijani relations and said that the relations between the two countries were seriously damaged after the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.
