Ahmad Shahidov has interviewed “New Eastern Europe” and talked about human rights

During his conversation with Bartosz Marcinkowski, assistant editor of “New Eastern Europe”, Ahmad Shahidov touched on Nagorno Karabakh conflict

In the framework of his working visit to Europe Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) visited mainstream “New Eastern Europe” journal that headquartered in Krakow, Poland. Being received by Bartosz Marcinkowski, human rights advocate talked about the state of human rights and democracy in Azerbaijan and answered questions related to Azerbaijani external policy. He also touched on Nagorno Karabakh conflict during the interview.

While commenting on relations between Azerbaijan and Europe, Ahmad Shahidov criticised bias and one sided attitude of some European and international institutes towards Azerbaijan. He noted that this very inadmissible stance stems from jealousy of these institutions over Azerbaijan’s rapid growth. Aftermath head of AIDHR mentioned occupation of Nagorno Karabakh and seven adjacent regions. He underscored that European countries show double standards on this issue as well.
