“Armenia ignores the international calls” – Ahmad Shahidov talked to CBC Azerbaijan

Human Rights Defender Ahmad Shahidov says that armenian authorities ignores the international laws and Europe countries turn a blind eye to it

In his interview to CBC Azerbaijan Channel on February 2, Head of Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) Ahmad Shahidov talked about the illegal arrest of Azerbaijani hostages Dilgam Askarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, as well as holding the body of Azerbaijani soldier Chingiz Gurbanov. He said that Armenia’s actions are contrary to the requirements of the Geneva Convention of 1949: “Armenian authorities ignore the international laws and unfortunately, Europe countries turn a blind eye to it”.
