Harsh statements of the Armenian side, which did not comply with the conditions of the tripartite agreement dated November 10, 2020, in relations with Russia have become a new source of tension in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Against the background of ongoing protests on the Lachin-Khankendi road, Nikol Pashinyan&#8217;s harsh criticism against Russia caused the Kremlin&#8217;s displeasure.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a political analyst in his interview to the TRT Arabia channel about the ongoing tensions in the South Caucasus, said that Armenia cannot prevent the opening of the Zangezur Corridor: &#8220;The Zangezur Corridor will be opened. The Azerbaijani side has given Armenia until the end of this year.
