During the visit, a number of important agreements were signed between the two countries. The foundation laying ceremony of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline was held.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that the President of Turkiye is visiting Nakhchivan in particular these days has geopolitical significance. Thus, after the full restoration of Azerbaijan&#8217;s sovereignty, the main issue facing both Baku and Ankara is the opening of the Zangezur Corridor. In this regard, the Turkish president&#8217;s visit to Nakhchivan and participation in the opening of a military-industrial enterprise along with economic projects there is a clear message.<\/p>\n<p>Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who gave an interview on the subject to TRT Arabia channel, does not consider Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan&#8217;s visit to Nakhchivan to be a coincidence and says that after this visit joint activities related to the opening of the Zangezur Corridor will intensify.<\/p>\n<p><a
