On February 6-7, an international human rights conference was held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, jointly organized by the Qatar National Human Rights Committee and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The international conference entitled \u201cFood Justice From a Human Rights Perspective\u201d was attended by human rights defenders, state and government officials, media representatives and officials of international organizations from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the conference, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who met with the Chairperson of the Qatar National Human Rights Committee, H.E Ms. Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah, noted the importance of the international conference held in Doha and expressed his gratitude to the Qatar National Human Rights Committee.<\/p>\n
