The upcoming tripartite meeting in Washington aims to <span class=\"s1\"><b>formalize those understandings<\/b><\/span>. The U.S. administration is placing special emphasis on the process, presenting it both as a <span class=\"s1\"><b>regional peace initiative<\/b><\/span> and a <span class=\"s1\"><b>personal diplomatic success<\/b><\/span> for President Trump.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Speaking from Washington to ARB24 Television, political analyst <span class=\"s1\"><b>Dr. Ahmad Shahidov<\/b><\/span> said the meeting at the White House represents a <span class=\"s1\"><b>historic opportunity for the South Caucasus<\/b><\/span>, and that the signing of a <span class=\"s1\"><b>final peace agreement is very possible<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cDonald Trump is not approaching this process as a routine diplomatic effort, but rather as a matter of personal political will. His goal is to ensure reconciliation between Azerbaijan and Armenia while strengthening the U.S.\u2019s role as a global mediator,\u201d said Dr. Shahidov.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">He added that, in addition to the peace document, the parties may also discuss issues such as <span class=\"s1\"><b>economic cooperation, opening of borders, and transportation corridors<\/b><\/span>.
