Articles published in the U.S. press emphasize that this agreement is a historic document resolving the long-standing conflict in the South Caucasus through political means. Analysts note that this process has created a new geopolitical reality in the region and increased the U.S.\u2019s influence there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">At the same time, the Armenian lobby in the U.S. is actively campaigning against the agreement. Some pro-Armenian senators and members of Congress openly criticize the document and oppose Azerbaijan\u2019s position. Nevertheless, there is a prevailing positive attitude among the American public regarding prospects for stability and economic development in the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Political commentator Ahmad Shahidov, speaking live to ARB24 Television from the U.S. State Department in Washington, provided detailed information about the discussions taking place recently in the U.S. media, society, and political circles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">He stated that the peace agreement signed at the White House is significant for the U.S. both as a diplomatic victory and for strengthening strategic positions in the South Caucasus. Shahidov noted that the Armenian lobby in the U.S. is dissatisfied with the agreement and actively promotes their stance across various platforms. Some senators openly criticize the document and make biased statements against Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">The commentator emphasized that despite these pressures, the dominant view in influential U.S. media outlets and among experts is that the agreement will bring long-term peace and economic development to the region.
