The conference focuses on human rights, fundamental freedoms, security, international justice, and peace.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking live to Baku TV from the venue, Ahmad Shahidov, Director of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, shared insights about the ongoing sessions and discussions.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the Azerbaijani delegation is actively participating in the platform, presenting its position on the South Caucasus peace process, normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, and the U.S.-brokered \u201cWhite House Agreement\u201d: \u201cAzerbaijan stands as a defender of peace, justice, and human rights at this forum. We call for the restoration of lasting stability and the protection of the rule of international law in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The human rights defender also noted that some Armenian representatives delivered provocative remarks, but the Azerbaijani side remains composed and responds firmly: \u201cUnfortunately, certain biased statements aim to undermine the peace process. But we respond with patience and facts.
