The issues of human rights, migration, discrimination and elections have been discussed at the meeting. The committee\u2019s meeting also featured debates on parliamentary elections of Kirgizstan (October 4th, 2015), presidential elections of Belorussia (October 11th, 2015) and parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan and Turkey (November 1st, 2015).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HqErjlp8r64\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijani Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (AIDHR) also attended the Committee\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n<p>In his report, PACE observer mission, Spanish MP Jordi Xucla Costa indicated that parliamentary elections which held in Azerbaijan on November 1 was democratic and in lined with Azerbaijani legislation.<\/p>\n<p>The report noted the importance of Azerbaijan\u2019s taking into consideration principles of Venice Commission and touched on human rights issue.
