Attended by the representatives of Lerik residents, youths and clergymen, the event was organized with the support of\u00a0<strong>State Support Council to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Opening the ceremony, Chairman of Reformist Youths Public Union\u00a0<strong>Mr. Farid Shahbazli<\/strong>\u00a0informed about the project and spoke about the works done in the fight against religious radicalism.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1MCoh6aeU6M\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Then, Deputy Chair of the Lerik Region Executive Power in Social and Political Affairs\u00a0<strong>Mrs. Arzu Valimammadova<\/strong>, Director of Lankaran Region Department of The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations\u00a0<strong>Mr. Gagayi Mammadov<\/strong>, Chairman of Education Center for Youth\u00a0<strong>Mr. Fakhraddin Hasanzada<\/strong>\u00a0provided information on the merits of religious radicalism and extremism, spoke about the works done in this area and underlined the importance of youths to proceed from the principle of statehood in the fights against such tendencies.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the conference,\u00a0<strong>human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov<\/strong>\u00a0talked about the works done against religious radicalism and extremism in Azerbaijan, as a perfect model of multiculturalism in the world.
