As a result of the 24-hour anti-terror operations carried out by the Azerbaijani Army in Karabakh, the separatist regime in Karabakh surrendered and accepted the terms put forward by Baku.

Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender speaking on the subject on Egypt’s Al Qahera News channel, noted that the armenians in Karabakh will be reintegrated into the Azerbaijani society and will have all the rights and freedoms stipulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan. However, expectations that armenians in Karabakh will have special privileges and status are unfounded. Because, like other citizens of Azerbaijan, armenians in Karabakh should understand their rights and freedoms as well as their responsibilities and respect the laws of Azerbaijan.
