Iran respects the agreements reached at the meeting of the border delimitation commission between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Nasser Kanani, said this while commenting on the question regarding Armenia’s return of 4 villages belonging to Azerbaijan.
Commenting on the topic to ARB24 Television, political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a big step on the way to great peace. All the countries of the world and international organizations appreciate this agreement. In such a case, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s different approach would give rise to doubts. In this regard, Tehran was expected to give a positive statement. But Iran’s reaction to future events in the region may not be unambiguous. Tehran is still waiting.
