On December 26, an informal meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States` Heads of State was held in St. Petersburg. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also participated in the event.
Commenting on the unofficial meeting of the CIS heads of state in St. Petersburg, political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that the arrival of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in St. Petersburg and the messages he gave there indicate that relations between Moscow and Yerevan will continue to be tense.
