International organizations and Western countries apply double standards to conflicts around the world. Western countries, which approach the same type of conflicts from a different perspective, are already carrying out biased policies. Azerbaijan is one of the countries facing this biased policy.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender who gave an interview to ARB24 channel on the subject, evaluated the fact that despite the presence of 4 UN Security Council resolutions, Azerbaijan’s liberation of its lands from occupation was met with jealousy in Western countries as a clear example of a double standard.
