On October 5, the OSCE Meeting on Human Rights continued its work in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
Today’s discussions were held on the topic of “Tolerance and non-discrimination: Addressing racism, xenophobia, discrimination and intolerance”. At the beginning of the discussions, Isabella Sargsyan, Member of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Panel of Experts on Freedom of religion or belief, of Armenian origin, made a broad presentation. In her speech, Isabella Sargsyan, who spoke lies, slander and blackmail against the Republic of Azerbaijan, revealed her open hatred for Azerbaijan.
Human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who strongly reacted to the speech of the OSCE expert of Armenian origin, put aside his speech on the today`s topic and responded to the speech of the Armenian expert and said that Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day Second Karabakh War was the embodiment of international legal norms, and said that Azerbaijan has restored its state sovereignty as a result of the anti-terrorist operations carried out in Karabakh in September of this year.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov protested against the speech of the OSCE expert of Armenian origin with strong hatred against Azerbaijan, noting that it is unacceptable to spread hatred in the international event, and demanded to contribute to the peace and coexistence policy implemented by the Azerbaijani state in Karabakh and to support the integration of the armenian residents of Karabakh into the Azerbaijani society.
