Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, speaking on the subject to the Indian television channel Wion, said that the current president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s victory again will lead to the rise of Turkiye’s political and military power: “Today, Turkiye conducts an independent policy in the world. Turkiye has its own leading military and defense industry and the world’s leading weapons are manufactured in Turkiye. If Erdogan is re-elected, this policy will continue and Turkiye will become a nuclear country.”
