Dr. Ahmad Shahidov met with Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohammad Faisal

On June 5, within the framework of his business visit to London, the capital of the United Kingdom, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights and a prominent human rights defender, held a sincere and friendly meeting with Dr. Mohammad Faisal, Pakistan’s high commissioner and ambassador to the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan are not limited to diplomatic partnership but are built upon centuries-old brotherhood and unshakable friendship. The parties exchanged valuable views on the strong ties between the two countries, shared values, and prospects for future cooperation.

In his remarks, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov highlighted the importance of supporting Pakistan’s just voice on international platforms and informed the ambassador about his ongoing activities and future initiatives in this regard.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Faisal for his warm welcome and hospitality and wished prosperity and success to the friendly and brotherly people of Pakistan.

Both sides once again affirmed the eternal and unbreakable friendship between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
