After the ongoing delimitation and demarcation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a peace treaty is expected to be signed between the two countries. According to the tripartite agreement of November 10, 2020, the opening of the Zangezur Corridor is also expected.

For Azerbaijan and Armenia, which will live in peace and dialogue, the existence of the Zangezur Corridor is very important in terms of opening regional communications. Currently, the main task of Russian soldiers in the Zangezur region will be to ensure the security of the Zangezur Corridor, which will be opened.
