Armenian separatists’ attempt in PACE was prevented – protest against the “ombudsman” of so-called regime

The Autumn Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe began its work on September 30 in Strasbourg, France. During the session, the Armenian delegation tried to provoke.

The Armenian delegation, which organized a side event in the PACE building, tried to present the separatist regime under the name of “Universal Human Rights”. Thus, Artak Beglaryan, the “ombudsman” of the so-called “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic”, was presented as the keynote speaker. Artak Beglaryan spoke about the separatist regime and gave false information about the human rights situation in the so-called “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” and made false accusations against Azerbaijan.

Members of the Azerbaijani civil society – coordinator of the Information Center for Azerbaijani Captives and Hostages, human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov and chairman of the Polish Azerbaijanis Association Javid Zeynalov, attending the event of Armenian separatists, held posters with slogans “Karabakh is Azerbaijan!” and “Armenia should liberate the occupied Azerbaijani lands” and protested against the speech of the representative of separatist regime.

As a result of the action, which lasted about 20 minutes, the separatist event was unsuccessful, and the discussions were left unfinished. Armenia’s official delegation has appealed to the PACE Secretariat about the Azerbaijani activists.
