The memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, who were tortured to death by Armenian vandals, was commemorated at Istanbul Aydin University.
The Reformist Youth Public Union and the university administration have organized an exhibition of photos of our citizens who lost their lives in the genocide.
Members of the Reformist Youth Public Union, Vice-Rector of Istanbul Aydin University Prof.Dr. Zafar Aslan, employees of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Turkish and Azerbaijani students attended.
Within the framework of the photo exhibition, brochures reflecting the horrific genocide in Khojaly and badges with the words “Justice for Khojaly” were distributed to schoolchildren and participants of the event.
Speaking at the event, the head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, spoke about Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day war and the support provided by brotherly Turkey to Azerbaijan in this war.
