The youth of Turkey, Azerbaijan and TRNC met at the “Brotherhood Conference with Azerbaijan” held at Istanbul University. The main slogan of the conference was “Asia plays a leading role and a new world is being built.” At the event, the chairman of the Turkish Vatan Party, Dogu Perinchek, was awarded by the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights for his contribution to the victory in Karabakh and his efforts to strengthen relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, Head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, thanked Dogu Perinchek on behalf of his organization. “Because Dogu Perinchek is not an ordinary Turkish citizen. On behalf of our organization and the people of Azerbaijan, I thank Mr. Perinchek for bringing the events of Karabakh to the world,” he said.
