A round table on “Common history and goals of Georgia and Azerbaijan” was held in Tbilisi

On May 28, Tbilisi Technical University hosted a round table on “Common history and goals of Georgia and Azerbaijan” dedicated to the Independence Day of Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The meeting was attended by officials of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, rector and professors of the Technical University, Azerbaijani and Georgian scientists, political experts, analysts and youth.

Speaking at the event, Georgian and Azerbaijani scientists spoke about the common past of the two countries and their goals.

It was noted that the existing potential for the development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and the implementation of joint projects has not been fully used. It was noted that the development of mutual relations and the implementation of joint projects in this area are very important for this.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Azerbaijan Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov spoke about the history and future prospects of relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries.
