Armenian attacks on Azerbaijani embassies are a violation of international law – BenguTurk

In recent days, attempts by Armenian communities to attack the buildings of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions in foreign countries have caused serious concern.

Attempts involving vandalism and terrorist elements aim to damage the lives and property of diplomats, and are therefore considered criminal acts.

Images were shared on social media that Armenian groups attempted to attack the Azerbaijani embassies in the USA, France and Lebanon.

Speaking to BenguTurk Television on the subject, international relations expert Dr. Ahmad Shahidov stated that the Armenian attacks on the Azerbaijani embassies are a violation of international law: “We strongly condemn the criminal acts of radical Armenian groups and expect the institutions responsible for preventing such provocations in the relevant countries to approach their duties responsibly. Azerbaijan demands that the acts of vandalism carried out by radical Armenian groups be investigated by the law enforcement agencies of the relevant states and that the perpetrators of these crimes are legally evaluated.”
