The International Court of Justice will hold public hearings on the request by Azerbaijan – Khazar Television

On January 31, the International Court of Justice, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, will hold public hearings in the case concerning Application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Azerbaijan v. Armenia) on Tuesday 31 January 2023, at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the seat of the Court.

The hearings will be devoted to the Request for the indcation of provisional measures submitted by the Republic of Azerbaijan on 3 January 2023.

Commenting on “Khazar News” program of Khazar Television, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov pointed out that Azerbaijan has made serious steps on all international political and legal platforms and that Armenia’s destructive policy has been consistently exposed: “This is Azerbaijan’s second appeal to the International Court of Justice. Last year’s appeal was considered and Armenia was warned. I think that the Armenian side”s violations of law will be exposed with solid evidence and facts in the hearings to be held on January 31.”
