Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, head of the Institute for Democracy and Human Rights, who is on a business trip to Qatar, met with Sultan bin Hasan Al Jamali, Secretary General of the Qatar National Human Rights Committee. Issues of mutual cooperation and joint action were discussed during a one-on-one meeting held within the framework of the two-day international human rights conference held in Doha.
Appreciating the activities of the Qatar National Human Rights Committee, Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that it is necessary to work effectively in Europe and international platforms on issues of mutual interest, and that all opportunities are available for this.
Expressing his deep gratitude to Dr. Ahmad Shahidov for accepting the invitation and coming to Qatar, Sultan bin Hasan Al Jamali noted that the State of Qatar and the Qatar National Human Rights Committee attach special importance to international events and conferences.
