“The discovery of mass graves in Karabakh is proof of Armenia’s war crimes” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov told ARB24 channel

A mass grave was discovered in the city of Shusha, which was liberated from the armenian occupation. The mass grave was discovered in the territory of Shusha prison. According to preliminary information, it is believed that the remains belong to at least 4 people.

Commenting on the issue to ARB24 channel, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov evaluated the discovery of mass graves in the liberated territories as clear evidence of Armenia’s war crimes: “Other mass graves are located in Dashalti village of Shusha district, Edilli village of Khojavend district, Farrukh village of Khojaly district, Yukhari Seyidahmadli village of Fuzuli district, Kalbajar, Agdam and other settlements. In total, more than 400 human remains have been found from the mass graves discovered so far.”

Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that the war crimes committed by Armenia will be submitted to international courts, and even if a peace treaty will be signed between Baku and Yerevan, Armenia will have to pay compensation for these war crimes.
