“Erdogan’s visit to Azerbaijan is an important message to the countries of the region and the world” – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov told TRT Arabia

The President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, arrived on a state visit to Azerbaijan on June 12 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

On June 13, there was an official welcoming ceremony for the President of Turkiye. Later, a one-on-one meeting was held between the leaders of the two countries – Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev.

Commenting on the topic to TRT Arabia Television, political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov said that the visit of the Turkish president to Azerbaijan will further develop the relations between the two countries and will pave the way for the strengthening of the Organization of Turkic States in general.
