On July 5, Azerbaijan hosted another prestigious international event, the capital Baku became the center of attention of many countries of the world. The Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on the topic “Non-Aligned Movement: joint and decisive fight against emerging challenges” was the next important event where important messages and challenges were voiced.
In his speech at the ministerial meeting held in Baku, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke about the high international trust in Azerbaijan. He said that by the unanimous decision of the countries of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan assumed the chairmanship for 2019-2022, and again, by unanimous decision, Azerbaijan`s chairmanship was extended for another year.
Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who gave an interview on the subject to TRT Arabia channel, spoke about the opinions expressed and the decisions made at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Baku.
