Azerbaijan and Armenia have taken a peace step – Dr. Ahmad Shahidov talks to Kanal24 channel

An agreement was reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on mutual release of servicemen. As a result of the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, based on the principle of humanism, an agreement was reached on the release of 32 people of Armenian origin by Azerbaijan, and 2 Azerbaijani servicemen by Armenia.

This agreement is considered a serious step in the process of peace negotiations between the two countries and raises hopes that a peace treaty will soon be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Political analyst Dr. Ahmad Shahidov made a statement on the topic to the Turkish Kanal24 channel and said that the exchange of prisoners of war is a serious step and pointed out that Armenia should show a more sincere and constructive position in order to sign peace between the two countries.
