On February 6-7, an international human rights conference was held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, jointly organized by the Qatar National Human Rights Committee and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. The international conference entitled “Food Justice From a Human Rights Perspective” was attended by human rights defenders, state and government officials, media representatives and officials of international organizations from all over the world.
Within the framework of the conference, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who met with the Secretary General of the Qatar National Human Rights Committee, H.E Mr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Jamali, noted the importance of the international conference held in Doha and expressed his gratitude to the Qatar National Human Rights Committee.
Talking about the prospects of mutual cooperation, H.E Mr.Sultan bin Hassan Al Jamali highly appreciated the activity of human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov in international organizations and emphasized the necessity of joint projects.
