Residents of the Armenian village of Kirants blocked the road connecting Armenia and Georgia. Armenian residents protest the agreement on the demarcation of separate parts of the Armenia-Azerbaijani border and the transfer of 4 villages to Azerbaijan.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, a human rights defender, who made a statement to ARB24 Television on the subject, said that these protests will not bring any results: “This is an internal matter of Armenia. In any case, these protests will not bring any result. The process of defining borders between the two countries will be concluded and a peace treaty will be signed.”
