Relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan are moving to a new level. Within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Azerbaijan, agreements on a number of areas of life were signed between the two countries.
Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, an expert on international relations gave a statement on the subject to ARB24 Television and said that there is a great potential to further increase the cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. In particular, the cooperation prospects of these two countries are very important in the large trade cycle starting from China, passing through Central Asia and extending to Europe through the Zangezur Corridor.
