Today, the state commissions on the delimitation and demarcation of the state borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan are actively continuing their work. A large part of the state borders between the two countries has been defined. 4 villages belonging to Azerbaijan have been returned, and the other 4 villages are expected to be handed over to Azerbaijan in the coming weeks. After that, a peace treaty is expected to be signed between the two countries.
Speaking on the subject on ARB24 Television’s “Business Morning” program, human rights defender Dr. Ahmad Shahidov commented on the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agenda and particularly noted that the Constitution of Armenia, which includes territorial claims against its neighbors, should be changed.
