On September 30, the OSCE Human Dimension Conference began in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Human rights, fundamental freedoms and conflicts in the OSCE region were discussed at the annual meeting attended by ambassadors, diplomats and official representatives of 57 countries.
Discussions held on October 8 were held on the topic “Tolerance and non-discrimination: racism, xenophobia, intolerance”. The head of the Institute for Democracy and Human Rights Dr. Ahmad Shahidov, who closely participated in the discussions, criticized the biased speeches against Azerbaijan at the OSCE Warsaw Meeting.
In particular, human rights defender Ahmad Shahidov called the hate speeches of the Armenian representatives unacceptable at a time when Azerbaijan is working for peace in the region and said that Azerbaijan was the country whose lands were occupied in the last 30 years. Azerbaijan was also a country with more than one million internally displaced people. In such a case, continuous criticism of Azerbaijan is discrimination. Discrimination must be stopped!
